Inspect suspension for loose, worn, or bent parts<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">2. Determine amount of caster change needed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">3. Remove 3 upper struts nuts and brackets<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">4. Raise vehicle at designated jacking points allowing strut to hang free of strut tower.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">5. using template included in kit mark area around single round hole in top of strut tower.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">6. using 1\/4&#8243; drill bit, drill several holes in the marked area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">7. use 1\/4&#8243; rotary file to elongate and clean 1 1\/2&#8243; hole.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">8. Lower vehicle so strut bolts are located in tower holes.&nbsp; DO NOT LOWER VEHICLE ALL the WAY. Tires should be touching slightly; turn plates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">9. Install caster adjusting tool. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">10. Turn tool nut to change caster. Readings can be taken any time without bolt down strut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">11. When the desired caster has been obtained, install three strut nuts and torque (18 ft lb.s) to manufacturer&#8217;s spec.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">12. Recheck caster and proceed with alignment.
